Growing fruit trees and edible plants help us to create a bond with our land.  There is a delicate reciprocity of give and take that lends itself so naturally to food grown at home.  Responsible care for our land and plant communities helps us to make a positive impact right here in our own backyards.  I strive to achieve that through an emphasis on soil health and a sustainable, organic approach.  By growing food in a way that nurtures ourselves and our surroundings, we are able to become a small part of the solution.
